Some people think DJ’s are supposed to know allllll the music. Every song, for every body.

I do not agree with that. I specialize in the genre’s that I specialize in because I listen to, and practice with them regularly.

With all the music being released and promoted today, it’s impossible to keep up with EVERYTHING. As a turntablist, I focus on what sounds and feels good TO ME for my brand.

Don’t get distracted by the noise, music deserves your undivided attention.

I’m not sure how the DJ became the only type of artist that people feel like they can interrupt during their performance, but it seems we need to revisit DJ Etiquette.

Moving forward, let’s let the DJ cook. Let them focus on doing their best, and having a great show.
