During , the salutes Broadside Lotus Press which continues the pioneering and poetic legacy of Dudley Randall (1914-2000) and Naomi Long Madgett (1923-2020). We are honored to share that the Sphinx Organization will receive the Gold Baton Award on June 1, the League of American Orchestras’ highest honor.

Presented annually since 1948, the award recognizes distinguished service and lasting contributions to the field of orchestral music.

This recognition reflects the impact of Sphinx’s work across education, artist development, performance, and arts leadership.
