Simple Sundries is officially 6 years old! I am very proud of starting Simple Sundries, of building it, growing it, and of navigating the ever-evolving challenges that were thrown at it.

But it's time to close it. The unpredictable tariffs, economic uncertainty, declining legislative support for sustainability, and the shift from empowerment to apathy in consumer sentiment is just too overwhelming.

So here is the calendar for winding down the store:
Farmers Markets! Simple Sundries will still set up at all previously committed farmers markets. September means every Saturday at Ankeny and every Tuesday in Johnston.

Online shopping: The online store will continue until October 15th at which point the site will go down.

Online sales:
20% everything September 17h-24th
30% off everything September 25th-October 1st
40% off- October 2nd-October 8th
50% off- October 19th-15th

Plus additional sales on certain items! So if there's something you really want, stock up now to ensure it's available. And check back often to take advantage of these close out sales (and to help me move my inventory!) And don't forget to come visit me at the farmers markets over the next six weeks. I'd love to see you.
