The Makeup Table + Hair
Ever hear someone say, “Just click the link in my bio,” and wonder… where exactly is that? 🤔
You’re definitely not the only one.
I created this quick video to show you exactly where to find it so you can easily book a hair appointment, schedule a Signature Edit makeup lesson, browse my favorite beauty products, or see everything I have to offer.
No guessing. No hunting around. Just a quick little guide to make it easy.
If you’ve ever been confused by “link in bio,” this one’s for you. And if you know someone who could use this tip, share it with them. It might save them a little frustration today. 💕
If your hair just isn’t cooperating anymore, it might not be your products. It could be your haircut.
As a licensed cosmetologist with over 25 years of experience, one of the most common things I see is people spending money on products when what they really need is a fresh shape. A great haircut should make your hair easier to style, not harder.
If you’re in the Denver area and your haircut has lost its shape, I’d love to help. I specialize in precision haircuts, short hair, bobs, pixies, and creating styles that work with your lifestyle.
You can book your appointment by clicking the link in my bio or by visiting www.themakeuptable.com.
Which sign sounds most like your hair? Let me know in the comments.
I’m not here to go viral. I’m here so the right women find me.
The ones standing in front of the mirror thinking:
“Why does this feel so complicated?”
Denver 🏔️ hi, it’s me.

Because beauty shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
Follow for real-life beauty that makes sense ✨
Dark circles still showing through your concealer? It might not be your concealer at all.
One of the biggest mistakes I see is layering on more concealer when what you really need is a color corrector first.
Today I’m using:
✨ NYX Pink Color Corrector
✨ Milk Makeup Concealer
✨ BK Beauty Concealer Brush
Using less product often gives a brighter, smoother finish, especially on mature skin.
Comment BRIGHTEN and I’ll send you the link where you’ll find all three products!

Bronzer should add warmth, not make your makeup look muddy or create a mustache like Tom Selleck (he’s in this video so watch till the end 😍)
One of the biggest mistakes I see is where people place their bronzer. I use a large fluffy brush to lightly warm the perimeter of the face, and as a bonus, it can also help softly set your foundation or CC cream.
But the biggest tip comes at the end of this video because there’s one area I intentionally avoid when applying bronzer, and it makes all the difference.
As a licensed cosmetologist for more than 25 years, these are the simple techniques I teach my clients that create the biggest transformation. 🤎Comment BRONZE and I’ll send you my favorite bronzers and fluffy brushes I recommend!

Anythink Library's Teen Beauty Workshop was a huge success, drawing a large crowd and delivering a fun day of beauty-focused activities for teenagers. I'd like to thank Anythink libraries for hosting these events and for inviting me to be a part of it. I'm excited for the next opportunity!
If you’ve never tried tightlining, you’re missing one of the easiest ways to make your lashes look naturally fuller without a thick line of eyeliner.
Instead of drawing a visible line above your lashes, tightlining fills the tiny gaps between them, creating soft definition that enhances your eyes while still looking natural.
You can use an eye pencil or a small angled brush with Gel Liner.
It’s one of my favorite techniques for everyday makeup because it’s quick, subtle, and works beautifully for hooded or mature eyes too.
✨ Have you tried tightlining before, or is this a new technique for you? Let me know below!
Some beauty advice deserves to be retired.
After 25 years as a licensed cosmetologist, I’ve learned that many of the “rules” we’ve been taught actually make makeup harder..not better.
✔️ Softer eyeliner can brighten the eyes.
✔️ Less product often looks more natural.
✔️ Strategic placement beats piling on more makeup.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by makeup, you’re in the right place. My goal is to simplify beauty so it works for real life.
Save this for your next makeup routine, and let me know which beauty “rule” you’re ready to break.
I’ve tried the luxury version and the affordable version… and this is exactly what I tell my clients.
Not every affordable product performs like its high end counterpart, and not every luxury product is worth the splurge. As a licensed cosmetologist with 25+ years of experience, I recommend products based on how they actually perform, not just the price tag.
✨ If you’re looking for my trusted beauty recommendations, I’ve already curated them in my Makeup Edit in my Amazon Storefront. It includes the products I personally use, recommend, and reach for most often.

Redness doesn’t need more coverage, it needs color correction. 💚
Green color corrector helps neutralize redness before makeup, creating a more even looking complexion with less product. Plus this product blends in seamlessly with its color adapting formulation. And SPF!! (Chefs kiss)
If redness is something you struggle with, this is one of the simplest makeup artist tricks to add to your routine.
💚 Comment GREEN and I’ll send you the exact product I use.
