Domestic or intimate partner violence is a pattern of behaviors used by a current or former romantic partner to maintain power and control over another person. Domestic or intimate partner violence can happen to anyone at any point in a relationship and often times, even after the partnership has ended. Additionally, not all abuse is physical. It’s important to know and recognize any red flags in your relationship. Below is a list of common warning signs found in abusive relationships. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, there is hope; there is help. ♥
