Denver Cake Company is 10! For anyone who doesn’t know me, my name is Amy. I am the owner, baker, delivery driver, dishwasher, doer of all things, for Denver Cake Co. In honor of 10 years of business, here are 10 facts about me.

1. I grew up in Idaho, 30 miles from the Canadian border
2. Denver has been my home for 14 years
3. I live here with my husband and 2 dogs
4. Denver Cake Co’s color is purple because of my love of huckleberries
5. I once voluntarily jumped out of an airplane
6. My first job at 15, was shearing Christmas trees with a machete
7. I have been a Denver Broncos fan my whole life
8. My favorite food is broccoli
9. I have been to 45 states and hoping to visit the last 5 soon
10. There were several moments that eventually led me to become a cake artist, but the main one was making my nieces’ 1st birthday cake in 2012 (last photo). It was such a joy to create something special for her, and I feel the same way every time I get to make something for all of you 💜
