Feyline
Barry Fey, the promoter behind some of the most iconic concerts in history, almost wrote this one off. The weather rolled in. Conditions weren’t ideal. It had every reason to fall apart.
But it didn’t.
U2 took the stage anyway. The rain didn’t kill the energy, it amplified it. What could’ve been a disaster turned into one of the greatest shows Barry Fey had ever seen in his life.
This comes from that night.
A real piece of history from a night that wasn’t supposed to work but did.
If you want it, it’s in the link in our bio.
Back then, there was no fixing it after the fact.
This show got pushed to April 1, 1996 after Chad Smith broke his wrist… but the posters were already out.
No updates. No corrections. No second version.
What was printed… stood.
Even in the Red Hot Chili Peppers archives, this is the version you’ll find.
That’s what you’re wearing.
A real piece of how it actually was.
