Elevated Presence

I was commissioned to take a pair of and steez them up.

These overalls aren't meant to be just any overalls, they are meant to become a sort of generational heirloom.
Ghost- asked to have these made and asked to include nods to his dad, Guru- and his son Surfr.

Guru is currently in the midst of battling cancer, and it was ghosts hope to gift his dad something special to encouraging the fight.

These pants will be passed down in their family--- to know I had a hand in creating something so full of love and intention is absolutely enchanting.

I put a lot of pressure on myself to "get it right" -- I'm pretty proud of the work I put in and the love that turned tangible.

I've never done a project like this one... so there was a lot of learning, patience and smoke breaks involved--- and it was worth it.

What a great weekend!

The latest steez'd out upcycle.

I had this dope tshirt by - unfortunately, it had been stained (who else can't do white? Haha) --- so I worked some magic and created one of my new favorite one of a kind pieces.

Featuring an upcycled hood, thrifted cotton work shirt (it's like sturdy?l), and a DEEP pocket--- this thing is a roomy Adult Size Large.

I'm super happy with it, especially because I faced a machine breakdown in the middle of working on it haha.

If you look close, you might notice I used some of my in house designed material.

This week I cut out 5 trap sacks. Here are the first 2! Each one will feature a different applique design made of upcycled leather.

Each time I make these I'm seeing ways to upgrade them. This round of trap sacks all have a cotton liner and can fit an ID.
