I AM LITERALLY NEVER EATING MEAT AGAIN AFTER SEEING THIS RECEIPT! Take a good hard look at this paper because my jaw is permanently on the pavement. I went to the Business Center to grab our heavy bulk items and they hit me with a $2,358.41 bill at the register! Look at the prices they are getting away with! Almost four hundred dollars for a case of beef?! $124.99 for cooking oil? Are they squeezing this oil from endangered species?! Look at the carts behind my hand—it’s literally just cardboard boxes and basic beverages, not luxury sports cars! HOW is this normal?? You try to do the right thing and buy in bulk to save a few pennies in the long run, and instead, you leave with a grocery bill that is literally higher than my rent. Is anyone else actually paying nearly four hundred dollars for a box of meat or is my store just making up numbers at this point?

I LITERALLY ONLY WENT IN FOR A FEW BASICS AND LEFT BLINDED BY REGRET! Look at this receipt from my run today. Over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for exactly 12 items! $1,114.71 to be exact! I didn't even buy a giant TV or a couch, just a few household items and upgrades, and the total looked like a mortgage payment. HOW is this normal?? Twelve items on the receipt and my bill is over a grand! I had to literally hand over eleven hundred dollars in cash just to walk out of the store. Buying in bulk is supposed to save us money, but at this point, walking into a warehouse store feels like financial su***de. Are you guys actually seeing bills like this for small shopping trips, or have they completely lost their minds?

I WENT IN FOR TOILET PAPER AND WATER AND NOW I HAVE TO SELL MY CAR! Just ran into Costco to grab some basics for the house and my total came out to $2,272.24! Look at this receipt! I literally just needed dog food, paper towels, some diapers, and a few cuts of meat for the weekend. HOW is this normal?? Sure, I grabbed a couple of extra things for the living room and some AirPods, but over two thousand dollars?! I remember when a cart full of essentials would run you maybe three hundred bucks max. The cart in the background isn't even overflowing! Now I need a second mortgage just to scan my membership card at the register. I feel like I'm being punished for trying to feed my family and keep the house stocked. Am I completely overreacting about this receipt or is the cost of living actually destroying us all?
