Who is behind all of this?

Hi everyone! I’m Miranda. I’m the owner of . I started that business in 2008 and have been in the “RiNo area” ( was called 5 points) since 2008. I absolutely love waxing. I just celebrated 16 years of being in business on September 10th! I can’t believe it! I’ve been an esthetician for 20 years!

Through out the years I wanted to add some fun things to my waxing studio. 2017 I learned how to make candles and started making and selling them in my studio! It was such a huge success for me:) after some time I wanted to do something that was a tad easier and a little more out there! I did dip dye candles and as some of you know I was the one who started ember wicks. I made 70’s funky style candles and man did that take off! Well, I had to put the breaks on that for a second. Something just felt off and it was more work than fun. Over the year after taking down ember wicks I went back to the drawing board. I thought of making fun stickers, doing web design, and so on. Nothing was clicking. One day I was messing around with AI and found some fun creativity in that space and all of the sudden it was happening. Making canvas with sparkles!

I don’t know if this will take off, but all I know is this makes sense to me and gives a lot of excitement and freedom. I hope you continue to follow me as we all see what comes next in this journey!

It’s Saturday morning and it feels like fall outside. I sit here listening to the silence while drinking my coffee. What has got me out of bed lately is the excitement of creating something that fills my heart with joy. I think about how I want to get this business off the ground. The first thing that comes to mind in this moment of quietness is a spiritual path. One of the things that I remind myself each morning is to invite God/universe into my businesses. I don’t know how else to do it without that help.

I believe we can always be true to ourselves in everything that we do. When it brings joy and contentment it’s a powerful thing to be part of! Here is to another day of learning and growing
