Family Healing Circles provide a safe and supportive space for families navigating grief to connect, heal, and be reminded that they are not alone. Through community, conversation, and compassionate care, we create space for every part of the grief journey.

✨Today, we honor and celebrate Kim Ray as she gracefully transitions from her role on the Adam’s Purpose Board of Directors.

Since joining the board in 2023, Kim has served with unwavering dedication, compassion, and excellence. As both a devoted board member and Chair of Special Events, she played an instrumental role in the growth and ex*****on of many of our most meaningful initiatives, including our signature event, A Mother’s Mourn, as well as fundraising efforts that helped further the mission and impact of Adam’s Purpose.

Kim carries a quiet yet powerful demeanor and a true “get it done” attitude. She brings organization, thoughtful ex*****on, consistency, and grace into every space she enters. Beyond her leadership, she is simply a joy to work alongside, someone who keeps things grounded, moving forward, and in order with excellence.

As the bereaved mother of BreAnna Ray, Kim brought not only professional insight and HR expertise to this work, but also lived experience, empathy, and heart. She faithfully attended support groups, showed up with consistency, and became a steady and trusted presence within our community. She has been a rock for our Executive Director and for the organization as a whole.

Her level of dedication has been nothing short of extraordinary. Planning for A Mother’s Mourn often began 4 to 5 months in advance, all while faithfully fulfilling her many board responsibilities. Her commitment behind the scenes helped create spaces of healing, remembrance, and community for countless families.

Kim’s impact during her tenure has been immeasurable, and her presence will be deeply missed. While this chapter comes to a close, we know this is not goodbye, and we look forward to continuing to see her around the Adam’s Purpose family.
