Hey yall! This will be a long post, so please stick around and take a second to read

I usually like to keep my business completely separate from any drama or personal issues I have going on, because that is not my clientele’s burden to bare, but this is extremely necessary at this time.

If any of u have seen the post on my personal page and what I have been dealing with the past few months, then you’re pretty caught up, but if not, I’ve been having a candy store owner (previous vendor of mine) and her friends and family, plus now here recently, a boutique owner (tried to steal my “Pretty Pastry” name) try and do everything in their power to shut me up and put me out of doing what I love. It has been constant nonsense, constant battles, and constant sleepless nights.

After they have reported me to the health department and a TikTok video of the pastry vendor in this shop’s daughter making a fake review bashing my Pretty Pastries and calling them “ghetto-y and nasty” coming to my attention, this is my last straw. I have worked too hard to build what I have built to let it be torn down by hateful, vindictive people. But, at this time, my hands are tied right now.

So here is where yall are involved. I have had to pull my pastries out of my amazing stores for the time being. What I have listed below is the stock I have pulled and that is ready for pickup if anyone would like to grab some. I won’t be making as big of numbers anymore since I no longer have those outlets to sell. To clarify, this has nothing to do with any unsafe sanitary practices, but under Louisiana law, a cottage baker cannot sell wholesale to stores. I hate to see my Cassandi’s fridge so empty, but it’s what is needed at this time.

Now this is NOT a goodbye nor a surrender. I will STILL be making my Pretty Pastries, and I have so many great ideas ready to go for yall coming soon. This is just simply an obstacle in my path that evil has put in my way to overcome, and that I will. I appreciate EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU that has supported me in this journey so far! And I have my last playing card up my sleeve that I will make public in due time.
