Hi friends! We found out this week that our building is going to need some pretty major repairs early next year and all of the Resident Artists will have to pack up their studios and move out to allow for the repairs to be made. With this news, I want to share that if anyone has been planning to commission a piece, this is the last week that I will be able to take on new work for a while, so please DM me now! All six of the new porcelain coral works are sold and headed to their new home tomorrow! I’m going to miss these pieces, particularly the massive Purple Aster anemone. She’s a real showstopper! I’m starting work on a new XL anemone and planning to glaze this one in my favorite stunning Lagoon blue. Probably will finish with a Mother of Pearl luster because I just can’t seem to help myself 😁✨ DM if you would like to commission one for your home!

Wrapping up the sculpting of my male Earth dragon this week! I went on a little side quest too as I felt the pull to create a more simple, organic form and started creating these catch-all dishes with antler feet. I love the (relative) immediacy of creating smaller works (I can have them dry and ready for firing within the week!) and it really balances out the scale for me from spending months and months on a single sculpture. Anyways, I’ll share pics of the antler dishes in my stories... stay tuned!
