Yesterday I taught a Baby Basics class and we had a great afternoon discussing and understanding what to expect during the first month of life with a newborn. Some women are pregnant and a couple have delivered. It was so much fun to be able to teach tummy time with my little assistant on the left- She showed everyone how strong and smart babies are! Home visits, office visits, a free support group on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month along with small group classes like Baby Basics and Accessible Breastfeeding classes for women and their babies are available. Today at the Feeding Forum mother/baby support group we did lots of tummy time, smiles and cooing! Next group is Tuesday February 24th! All women and their babies are welcome no matter how you feed.
