Pray Meditate and Create 💫
It was so cold at work today I couldn't even meditate on my lunch break I just sat out there and truly enjoyed all the good things the sun had to offer and then yeah I took my 3 deep breaths and had a little meditation

One question I’m frequently asked by my students is, “How do you start your massage sessions?”
My answer is always the same:
✨ **1. A resting/holding position**
I begin with both hands resting gently and still on the client’s back. This allows both of us to settle in, create a sense of safety, and establish a therapeutic connection before the treatment begins.
✨ **2. Compressions throughout the body**
Next, I use compressions to introduce touch and assess the tissues. This helps the client understand the areas I’ll be working on while giving me valuable information about tension, restrictions, and areas that may need extra attention.
The beginning of a massage sets the tone for the entire session. Taking a few intentional moments to connect can make all the difference.
