At Ron's request we stripped this guitar down to just one pickup and one volume k**b. Trying to come up with a way to plug the leftover holes we decided to try some ammo casings and I think it turned out pretty cool!

Angry Transistor Audio started with a lifelong desire I've had to learn how things work and build things.
It goes back to when I was a kid, turning wrenches on old cars wanting to modify and hot rod them. Playing guitar through old tube amps and wanting to mod them reminded me of that desire. I started out with building a couple tube amps and then a few old school fuzz pedals but then I stumbled into the tone chasing world of pickup winding! Winding pickups has been the most fulfilling path I have taken! I love the direct connection to shaping the tone of a guitar you get with winding pickups. There's also the connection with other musicians, when you sit down with a player and talk about tone and what they may be looking for and how we may be able to help find it with these Tiny Tone Machines!
