$2 MILLION FOR THE IMAGINATION LIBRARY 🦋 Dolly Parton posted a video on her social media pages today thanking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their generous $2 million donation to the Imagination Library.

The couple donated $26 million to 20 different charities this week, according to multiple news outlets. It is also rumored the pair is tying the knot this holiday weekend in New York.

Dolly was overjoyed in the video she posted, rocking her iconic blue and pink eyeshadow, saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m blown away and overjoyed with that gratitude.”

The music legend, and philanthropist in her own right, went on to say, “It’s evident that you two have made giving back a key part of your lives. So, hey, when you have your first born, can I have it? Because that’s going to be one special baby!” 😂

After she giggled, she offered up the mission of the Dollywood Foundation: to dream more, care more, learn more and be more. This donation will help do just that for the thousands of kids who benefit from the Imagination Library.

The Imagination Library is celebrating 31 years and over 318,338,104 books gifted to kids in 5 different countries, according to the nonprofit’s website.

Dolly of course ended the video by telling Taylor and Travis that she will always love them 🫶🏻

UPDATE: Dolly is making a surprise appearance to cut the ribbon around 2 p.m. at the travel stop! The travel stop did not previously advertise an appearance for Parton on social media, but the owner of the travel stop just made an announcement to media on location that she was on her way!

Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop opens today, but Dolly reportedly won’t be there in person for the celebrations.

The new Dolly themed travel stop in Cornersville, TN off I-65 in Middle Tennessee has their grand opening today at 2:30 Central Time. While the travel stop touts all sorts of Dolly memorabilia, her new “Cup of Ambition” coffee, various blinged out musical instruments, and plenty of Dolly artwork, the crown jewel, Dolly Parton herself, is not scheduled to make an appearance.

We know Dolly is battling various health concerns right now, because she shared a video update on May 4th sharing those details. She also said that she is taking a step back from going full throttle on everything now that she is 80, and is “like an old classic car. Once restored, they can be better than ever…” but her “oil pan was leaking, and her spark plugs need to be replaced.” She also noted that she is “responding well to treatments.”

She cancelled her upcoming shows in Las Vegas, but said she is still focusing on other upcoming projects.

While Dolly is taking much-needed time to rest and recover, we know that so many people are praying for her! 🦋
