First morning light at a secret slab during the biggest swell of el nino in 2010. Looks alot more inviting than it actually was. This wave is about 1/4 mile out from the beach. After I snapped some more photos we jumped off the end of the pier and paddled out to find out the sets were about 18-20ft and sucking out from top to bottom. It ended up being one of the heaviest day I've ever been out in the ocean.
A few tow teams of standups had shown up and thought we we're nuts for paddling on such a big day out there.
