Okay okay… after hearing so many mixed reviews 🤔 I had to try Sucre Cafe for myself.

The live crawfish sacks at the entrance caught me off guard… probably should be kept cooler but anywho 🤷‍♀️

I went in expecting the worst, salty, dirty, all the things but honestly I was pretty satisfied. The overall flavor is heavy on the crab boil liquid, a little spicy for “medium” but solid and cheap.

I will say they’re not the cleanest and could use more soaking time but we didn’t get many dead ones so that’s a plus.

Garlic butter was good, just a little sweet for me. It’s a 30 minute drive so I wouldn’t come often but if you’re closer, it’s worth trying.
