So… I did a thing. 🥹✨📚

A few years ago, I wrote 21 Days to Self Love to help adults rediscover their worth.

Today, I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to share something I’ve dreamed about for a long time…

My first children’s book, Little Me, Big Magic: An Interactive Confidence Adventure, is officially available on Amazon. 🌈✨

As a mom, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful the words children hear about themselves can be. Confidence, kindness, courage, self-love, and believing in your own magic don’t begin in adulthood—they begin in childhood.

I wanted to create a book that helps children celebrate who they are, embrace what makes them unique, and recognize that they are already enough exactly as they are.

This book is filled with affirmations, interactive activities, imagination, movement, and opportunities for meaningful conversations between children and the adults who love them.

My hope is that every child who reads it walks away feeling a little braver, a little stronger, a little more confident, and a little more loved. 💜

Seeing my daughter hold this book in her hands and read the words I wrote has been one of the most special moments of my life.

If you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, counselor, aunt, uncle, or simply someone who believes every child deserves to know their worth, I hope you’ll consider sharing Little Me, Big Magic with a little one in your life.

Because every child deserves to know that there is something truly magical about being themselves. ✨🌈

This morning I had the honor of volunteering with The Colony’s monthly Food Blessing, packing and handing out food to families in our community. Watching the long line of cars and knowing each box was going to someone who needed it was a powerful reminder that small acts of service still matter so much. Grateful to be a small part of something that feeds more than just hunger 🫶🏼

Also, that huge pile behind me is made up of bags full of pounds and pounds of onions that we packed. Needless to say, I left smelling like a giant onion today 😂 totally worth it

Two days, one AVID classroom, and a whole lot of meaningful conversations. 💛

I had the privilege of speaking with an incredible group of middle school students and sharing parts of my journey, not just the highlights, but the real moments too. The setbacks, self-doubt, pivots, growth, and the reminder that you do not need to have your entire life figured out to start becoming who you’re meant to be.

We talked about confidence, resilience, self-worth, chasing opportunities even when they feel scary, and how success is rarely a straight line. I wanted them to see that your story doesn’t have to look perfect to still become powerful.

One of the biggest messages I hoped to leave them with:
✨ “It’s not about having it all figured out, it’s about who you become along the way.”

Watching these students open up, ask questions, and reflect on their own futures honestly inspired me too. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to pour into the next generation and hopefully remind at least one student that their dreams, voice, and potential matter.

Thank you to coach Recinos, the AVID program and everyone who made it possible. 💫

2 years ago, I quietly got accepted into nursing school.

After years of wanting to finish my degree but never feeling like it was truly feasible, I finally decided I was going to make it happen, no matter what.

Today felt like the perfect time to share that I’m officially on this journey. 🤍

Over the past decade, I’ve worked in CVICU, medsurg, urgent cares, and private practices, and those experiences only deepened my desire to take things to the next level and finally become an RN. This has been a dream in my heart for a long time, and I’m so grateful to finally be pursuing it.

For a while, I told myself I had “missed my chance.” I would think, “I won’t even be in my career until I’m ___ years old”

But then I realized… I’m going to become that age anyway. I might as well be that age AND be a nurse!

If you’ve ever felt like it’s too late to start over, this is your reminder that it’s not. You’re not behind, you’re just getting started.

I’ll be sharing my nursing school journey along the way, not only to document this chapter of my life, but in hopes of encouraging, educating, and inspiring others who may be dreaming of taking that leap too.

Happy National Student Nurses Day! 🩺
