“A Night of Panic, a God of Peace”

This poem was written one panic and dread-filled night.

As I wrote, the Lord began to lift my eyes to Him, thus the shift in tone midway through. He did not remove the storm, but rather lovingly joined me in it.

If you can relate to the experience described in this poem, know that you are not alone. Christ will not abandon His own.
