Waterloo Guitars

Named for the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers often seen around our Austin shop, the maple-backed WL-14 Scissortail gives strong vintage vibes while delivering Texas-quality craftsmanship. This one's heading to our friends at SoundPure in North Carolina.

Our most ornate model, the WL-S Deluxe, features floral fingerboard inlays with a slotted peghead, cherry back and sides, a pyramid bridge, and intricate wood purflings front and back, all wrapped in ivoroid binding. Its soft V neck profile is comfortable, and its ladder-braced 12-fret body is tonally both rich and warm but with plenty of midrange.
