On the last day of our 5th annual sugar art retreat, we invite you for a fun day of learning with special guest chefs, sugar artists, and instructors from around the globe. Tables will be set up with time to check out different demonstrations at each, watch and learn or sit and try your hand at a mini hands-on project as we socialize, play, and shop the vendors set up for the whole day! After a short afternoon break, finish the evening with a delicious catered dinner, dessert, raffle prizes, and a whimsical costume contest filled with surprises!
This is a ticketed event open to the public, for any skill level from enthusiast to professional interested in learning more about the edible and culinary arts. Please note this event is geared toward learning, not tasting. There will be a variety of techniques and mediums shown, in the past that has included isomalt hard candy, cookies, cake decorations, edible painting, sugar flower making, edible paper, direct to food printing, and more!
