The fear of rejection, “what will the people say?” has induced generational anxiety, generation after generation. What will it take to break that cycle? A lot, because many of us have to choose our children and their mistakes and own up to our own mistakes, over our own egos and fear of rejection. Breaking this cycle of trauma will require sacrificing self-righteousness and ego, and many are not ready, unfortunately.

I encourage you to think beyond yourself. Nothing will change till you change. Imagine if fear of rejection were not there, how freely would you live, how freely would you own your mistakes, how freely would you show up for your children and family?
