Better Breakfast Swaps! 🍳🥓 ugh, breakfast is my FAVORITE meal of the day and I could seriously eat it for every meal 🤣😭. A lot of the conventional items I am suggesting a swap from contain ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, seed oils, modified starches, added sugars and other inflammatory ingredients.
Keep in mind, the swaps I am suggesting are just that- SUGGESTIONS. They are not reflective of price but rather a cleaner ingredient label. We are all doing our best and even making just one healthy swap is better than none!

If you are going to wear sunscreen, make sure it’s not causing more harm than good! There’s certain chemicals you want to watch for:
🚩Avabenzene, Homosalate, Oxybenzone, and Octinoxate in the ACTIVE INGREDIENTS. These ingredients are harmful as they are unstable in the sun and can breakdown, releasing free radicals… along with being endocrine disrupters.
🚩Frangrance: Since companies don’t legally have to tell you what is in their fragrance, just know there *could* be hundreds or thousands of chemicals that can disrupt your hormones. Fragrance is unnecessary is sunscreen.
🚩It’s also a good idea to make sure your sunscreen doesn’t contain any carcinogenic ingredients like PEGs that will get baked into the skin from the sun.
INSTEAD
🌿 Always choose a mineral sunscreen with the only ingredient being ZINC OXIDE in the Active ingredients section. I have lots of options for everyone to browse once you type SPF!
