With July being National Arts Month, we want to spotlight one of our amazing culinary team members. Roselyn Lozada is a Dietary Assistant at our Oak Trace community in Downers Grove, Illinois. Known for her strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, she is also Oak Trace’s July Team Member of the Month. Roselyn brings warmth and positivity to every shift — always smiling and engaging with residents in a way that truly reflects our Lifespace core values.

commemorates the end of slavery in America. In 1865 in Galveston, Texas, federal troops freed the last American slaves, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Long celebrated by African Americans, Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021. A day of liberation and resilience, Juneteenth is also a reminder of the possibilities of what can be achieved when everyone has equal access to opportunities and is treated with respect.
