This is me and one of my clients after his performance in the Rockwall Community Playhouse S.T.A.R. players production: Broadway Jr. Review. He did an amazing job and it was so exciting to see him shine on the stage. S.T.A.R. players is a program for people ages 16+ who have Down Syndrome in the local area. They do a production every summer, and this is his third year in the program. Speech Language Therapy benefits aren’t just for younger kids- teens, young adults and adults can still benefit from working with an SLP to maximize their communication skills.
