June was such a busy month I wanted to stop and take a moment to count my blessings - every single one of you who have trusted me with your critters 🥰
Last month I visited 110 houses for nail trims, and did 83 pet sitting visits! And July is just as booked. THANK YOU!

This weekend we remember those who served and sacrificed. All gave some, some gave all. Please have a safe and grateful Memorial Day.

May is also Mental Health Awareness month so I’d like to take a moment to remind us all that we never know what someone else is struggling through, our veterans especially. You do not have to be alone in the battle with your demons.

I stole this pic from the interwebs because I was much too excited earlier to think of getting pics…. Today I did nails on a whopping 4 South African Boerboels (and at two different houses)! I have not seen a Boerboel in many many years and so of course I was giddy like a school girl and they were all super sweet and well behaved for their pawdicures. I do love me some gigantic dogs, especially the mastiff breeds 🥰

The Boerboel is a large, powerful South African mastiff known for being a loyal, protective, and courageous family guardian, requiring experienced owners for early and consistent training and socialization due to its gigantic size, and dominant, strong-willed nature. They are intelligent, calm, and affectionate with their families, including children, but are naturally wary of strangers and will fearlessly defend their home and people. This breed needs space, a fenced yard, and a confident leader to manage their protective instincts and ensure they are well-adjusted.
