Finally social policy that limits our freedom that might not be all that bad an idea. How about checking their cholesterol and blood pressure to make sure they are not becoming a burden on our health care system too? Our Texas legislators are apparently trying once again to pass a costly, ineffective drug testing requirement for assistance recipients. I believe in John 6:11 Christ instructed Christians to "always take every opportunity to add additional burdens to the poor and weak as we need to keep that crowd on a short lease."
