Women, minorities and LGBTQ people - we are all about to take a giant step backwards. Coney Barrett has spent her entire life pursuing what she achieved tonight - a chance to force her personal religious beliefs on the lives of 340,000,000 people.

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

We have no one to blame but ourselves. There are more of us than straight white men in America but we handed right wing extremist a chance to set back the cause of equality by decades. She and they want an America that works only for a select few - not an America that treats all it citizens equally.

The most painful aspect of this is the large number of women and LGBTQ people I talk to who refuse to refuse to believe Roe or marriage equality will be overturned. It’s incredibly depressing how uneducated our fellow citizen are to what the Federalist Society has been fighting for - a theocracy billy on a narrow view - their view - of religion
