Yesterday I had the honor and the privilege of receiving a UN day Global Leadership Award for my work towards Gender Equality. I was inspired to hear about so many women taking the lead and actively working to make this world a better place. From Miss Opal Lee ( the grandmother of Juneteenth), to the amazing career of Tatiana Androsov, I am grateful to have so many heroes and SHEroes to look up to.
