Join us in saluting our own Cadet Sgt. 1st Class Jaydi Carranza as she was recently recognized by the National Sojourners. The honor was bestowed upon her for "her patriotism and support of the United States through the Reserve Officers Training Crops," according to her mentor and Retired Sgt. 1st Class Katrina Andrews.

Rather than taking a break from the rigors of classroom assignments and athletic endeavors during the week of Spring Break, The 12 spent time visiting and learning of the advantages that colleges and universities throughout East Texas would offer them as they look forward to Graduation 2029. I want to thank my donors for helping to make Spring Break 2026 both possible and enjoyable.
