Sardon Farms
12/04/2026
We started Sardon Farms in our mom’s small store room earlier this year. First 100 birds with 98% success rate, second batch I said there is way too much space let’s book 200 birds but it was too late because she had already book for 100, that batch was 99% successful.
Third batch I came back again with talk of 200 but she still insisted it will be too much and we finally agreed on 150 at the end of the day. First 2 weeks all 150 were alive, but by the 4th week we had lost about 18 birds. Overall 75% success rate which is quite a drop from previous batches.
That experience humbled me.
It taught me real, practical lessons about space, ventilation, heat management… and most importantly, the value of listening even when you think you’re right.
Growth is not just about ambition; it’s about timing and understanding your capacity.
We’ve now moved into a much bigger space that can handle up to 3,000 birds. But this time, we’re doing it differently. We’re starting with 558birds, applying what we’ve learned, and building momentum step by step.
Because the truth is: Mistakes are cheaper when you're small — and far more expensive when you're big.
We’re learning, improving, and growing… one batch at a time. First two pictures is how we started and last two is where we are now. I am genuinely excited thinking about where we will be in a few years 😁
