It has completely transformed, even without decor and looks so much bigger! Installing taller doors and painting the ceiling the same paint color as the built-in, created the look and feel of a larger space. The built-in wall is the shortest wall in the room, but continuing the paint color onto the ceiling makes it appear taller, giving the impact that a built-in should.🤗 When the client saw the room she was amazed at how much bigger the space seemed, even with the dark paint.

A common misconception about hiring an interior designer is that you’ll have to buy all new furnishings. As long as the existing furniture fairs well with the new vision for the space, that’s not true.😆
In this project, we used all the client’s existing furniture, and added 2 chairs, wall moulding, paint, lighting and accessories. With strategic design planning, the transformation was still impactful and the client was overjoyed.
The goal is to achieve the desired outcome with or without all new furnishings.😉
