Very pleased that my photo "Floral Abstraction" is currently part of the "Backyard" exhibition put on by The Texas Photographic Society. The exhibition runs through March 28 at the Center for Contemporary Arts located at 220 Cypress Street, Abilene, TX 79601. Especially meaningful to me as the juror was the great Judy Tedford Deaton, curator at The Grace Museum in Abilene.

Current Exhibitions Brr . . . the upcoming anticipated extremely cold weather reminded me that I've been remiss about posting my current works on view in exhibitions, both of which are about winter!

Across the River Studio and Chase Texas Art Archives are having an open studio and sale this Saturday, November 22, from 10 to around 2. I will be featuring my photographs, hand-decorated holiday ornaments and miniatures, and original holiday cards. Scott will have a variety of posters, books, and brochures relating to Early Texas Art for sale.

Also, our wonderful neighbors Whose Books will be celebrating their fourth anniversary from 2 until 6, and our newest neighbor, Viva Brew Factory, will have handcrafted espresso-based drinks and iced matcha available for purchase.

Although it didn't post as a cover photo very well (the top of the image cut off), my work "Eat More Bread" is on display in the ArtCentre of Plano's "For the Love of Art, Art with Impact" exhibition. The show is up until November 22. The ArtCentre's beautiful gallery is at 902 East 16th Street in Haggard Park in historic downtown Plano, and is open Tuesday through Saturday 10-5. There is a community opening reception this Saturday, 11/8, from 2-4 pm. Hope you'll come! Dropped off my piece "The Honduras Tire Shop Is Closed Forever" at the East Dock on Saturday. This still under renovation facility has big plans for space for small local businesses as well as art and event spaces. They are hosting the Oak Cliff Art Walk on Saturday, October 4 from 3-9. The event is free, so come see some great art from local artists as well as music and other activities. East Dock is at 900 E. Clarendon, just east of the Dallas Zoo DART station. My photograph "Golden Hour, Aeolian Islands (Dreaming of Odysseus)" is included in the Plano Art Association's 125 Show 2025, opening September 7 and continuing through October 9. The show is at PAA's gorgeous gallery space located in Willow Bend Mall, 6121 W Park Blvd, Suite A218 Plano, TX, 75093. See more details at:

Only a few more days to see New Texas Talent 32 at Craighead Green gallery, 167 Parkhouse Street, Dallas, TX 75207! The show closes this Saturday at 5 p.m. Hours today and tomorrow are 10-5, and Saturday 11-5.

Delighted to have my work "Fierce Fountain, Rome" included in the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council's 37th Annual Juried Exhibition. Scott and I are looking forward to the opening this Saturday, July 19, from 6-8 p.m. The show is at the Regional Arts Center, 321 West 4th St., Texarkana, TX 75501.
