Maintenance of a sidewalk in front of Gables Republic Tower, facing towards Thanks Giving Square.

This panoramic photo is part of a series showing space syntax, how objects in the built environment influence movement and urban development. Each object like the sign and scooter, along with the buildings, street pattern and structures and traffic signals shape the flow of potential movement. Urban space transitions from public to private through doors and windows along the street profile. The appearance of these transitions impacts the socio-economics and perception of safety from crime.

A tilt-shift lens was used to take three images that were photomerged in Photoshop.
