FYI, DallasRacing.net is owned by DFW Racing, LLC, a registered corporation, in the great state of Texas. We are a real deal business that organizes car meets, airfield exhibitions, cruises, etc. We have been a legal entity since 2012. There is now someone posting to FB and IG as "DFW RACING". We are in no way, shape, or form, affiliated with this group. They are posting street race videos from all over Dallas. We do not condone or support illegal street racing. I have reached out to the page and asked them to change their name, they have ignored my request and let me know they're never heard of DallasRacing. I was very polite, explained everything, and wanted to jump on a phone call to discuss the issue. I am now in the process of notifying FB and IG that they are operating a business (selling t-shirts and stickers) under our legal name. My attorney is now also getting involved. A simple name change on their part would have made this go away, but that's not the route they chose. Not sure why people choose to take the hard route and cause friction. We are all in the same hobby and we are in the same city FFS!
