🚨🐾 EMERGENCY MAMA & PUPPIES NEED YOUR HELP 🐾🚨

On Sunday, we were contacted by a rescue regarding a mama French Bulldog who had been in active labor for nearly 9 hours. X-rays showed she was carrying 8 puppies. She successfully delivered one puppy on her own, but after hours of pushing, mama was exhausted and could no longer continue.

An emergency C-section was the only option, but the owner could not afford the surgery.

With the help of our rescue partners, we were able to step in and help cover the cost of her emergency C-section. Thankfully, this brave mama delivered 2 beautiful girls and 6 handsome boys. ❤️

Despite everything she has been through, this sweet deaf mama has been incredible. She has been nursing, cleaning, and caring for her newborn babies like a champion.

While we are so grateful that mom and puppies are doing well, this unexpected emergency has placed a significant strain on our rescue funds. We are asking for your help to ensure we can continue providing for this family while still being able to say “yes” to the next French Bulldog in need.

Items such as puppy formula, laundry detergent, puppy pads, disinfectant supplies, and postnatal vitamins for mama will go directly toward caring for this little family. We are also always in need of diapers, dog food, dewormer, toys, and kennels for the many foster dogs currently in our care.

Our mission is to rescue French Bulldogs and provide the individualized medical care, rehabilitation, and support they deserve. We do not have a facility and rely entirely on dedicated foster homes and compassionate supporters like you.

Foster Enzo got to spend last night soaking up the sunset with his foster family, Frenchie friends, and some of our favorite alumni! 🌅🐾

Alumni Rambo, Frank, and even Hilde stopped by with their families for an evening filled with waves, laughter, and plenty of Frenchie shenanigans. A few of our Frenchie friends even got a little too adventurous and took an unexpected dip in the lake—we’re incredibly thankful for doggy life jackets! 🛟😂

This week brought a lot of emotions, celebrations, and moments of reflection for several of our rescue families. Last night was a welcome chance to slow down, enjoy good company, and appreciate the community that continues to support these dogs every step of the way.

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the week. ❤️🌊

🚙 We truly cannot believe this sweet, laid-back little dude is still looking for his forever family.

Chevy came to us after being surrendered to a local animal shelter when his owner began facing more advanced medical challenges. When we first met him, he was covered in red, inflamed skin and had significant hair loss from chronic allergies. Fast forward to today, and Chevy is looking so much better! His skin has improved tremendously, his redness is gone, and he’s finally feeling comfortable in his own skin.

Chevy even went on a home trial, where we learned something important about him—he REALLY loves toys. Like, really loves them. At the time, he wasn’t interested in sharing his prized possessions. After returning to rescue, Chevy has put in the work and learned that sharing isn’t so bad after all. With a little guidance and training, he’s made wonderful progress and has shown us that he can enjoy his toys while still being a good boy.

As for other dogs? Chevy is pretty indifferent. He doesn’t care much about playing with them, but he doesn’t mind having them around either. His perfect day consists of hanging out with his people, playing with his favorite toys, sneaking in a zoomie or two, and then settling in for some quality cuddle time.

Because of his love for toys, we’d feel most confident placing Chevy in a home with older children who can respect boundaries and understand that sharing goes both ways—just like Chevy has learned.

Chevy deserves a family that will see how special he is, continue to support his growth, and never give up on him. He has so much love to give and is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick.
