Steven Moore wrote this song at a time he was struggling with self-pity, shame, and unforgiveness toward all those people in his life that he had hurt and who hurt him. He was angry and sorry at the same time! He was reminded of Christ’s sacrifice for all of us on the cross and moments later, this song poured out. Steven Moore was inspired to write this song after reflecting on Romans 8:38-39. He noted “This is my favorite scripture. For years Satan convinced me that I was not redeemable based on my thoughts and things I've done. I literally thought I predestined for Hell. I was hopeless and struggled with depression”. After a family crisis, Steven spiraled down so much that he contemplated su***de. It took him hitting rock bottom (and a lot of prayer and counseling) to understand Romans 8:38-39. After a time of healing and recovery, God gave him the inspiration to write this song. We hope you love it as much as we do!!!
