MOMtessori Guide

Today AMI, TEAM and MPPI hosted their inaugural education advocacy event in Dallas, TX. The purpose of this meeting was to help Montessori community identify pathways in Texas to have Montessori credentials recognized by state agencies. This will be a huge step in education and I can’t wait for this important work to be completed!

This statue is created by Matteo Ferroni, a former Montessori student and an award winning architect.

Last week during outdoor school our kindergarteners created 'Solar Prints' and learned about the process of cyanotype.

The children used their nature findings on a special paper and exposed them to the sun. The light was blocked in places where there was a leaf, acorn, stick or a rock and passed through the rest of the paper. When this paper was washed in clear water... Voila!! We created our own blueprints.
