Twice Upon a Time Storytellers

Had such a fun time yesterday morning giving a keynote at Plano/Garland Neighborhood Summit on how storytelling can build stronger communities and then hosting a workshop on getting started with telling your own personal stories. Heard some fun stories including a 16-year-old getting a Camaro for his first set of wheels (😲), a beloved pet alligator with an unseemly demise, a sweet first date at a rained-out Shakespeare in the Park, and a relatively new to the US student struggling to understand a professor with a thick Texas twang. And durn it, was having such a great time visiting with participants that I forgot to take pics.
