B. D. Blase

“Exploration” was my first ever process painting. I stared at the blank canvas and asked myself, “What do I want to see,” and then began to dump paint straight out of the tube and onto the canvas. Doing so made me feel a sense of freedom that I had never experienced before. Creating what I was feeling in the moment felt so organic and authentically me; I loved absolutely every second of it.
