Since this article, we have had 2 major tornado events in Dallas. And countless hail and windstorms. Add to that, construction costs and materials have increased substantially. And 150,000 houses are hard to find today. So, it's no wonder that homeowners in the Dallas area see there insurance over 2000 or even 3000 a year on even a modest home.
