Fast Cuts

The passing of Ross Perot, God rest his soul, has reminded me of how his presidential campaign affected the early days of Fast Cuts. At that time, I had already left Pyramid Teleproductions to fully launch Fast Cuts. When Mr Perot hired Pyramid to be his base for editorial content for his campaign, I was frequently called on to Freelance edit at my former employer. So during the days I worked at expanding Fast Cuts and at night working at Pyramid on the Perot Campaign. It really helped me financially during those lean start up times.

Funny side story....one night while we were editing, Mr Perot showed up to see "what we were spending his money on!" No guards or advisors with him. Still a commanding presence in a flannel shirt at 10 pm. Great memories and a thank you to Mr Perot; you didn't know that you were a big help to a fledgling startup even then.
