In one week, join us at the Flower Mound Public Library (3030 Broadmoor Ln.) to learn how to recognize normal changes in memory and behavior versus early signs of cognitive decline. 🧠 During this informative talk on Tuesday, May 12, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., from the Area Agency on Aging, participants will explore how the brain changes over time, what's considered typical, and what might be cause for concern. Registration is requested. To register, visit www.flowermound.gov/libraryevents.

It was a big night for us! During last night’s Town Council Meeting, we were humbled to receive multiple donations from some great organizations.

The Summit Club of Flower Mound and the Women of Flower Mound partnered to donate $2,575 to the Library. Those funds will be used to purchase new STEM kits for our patrons.

During the meeting, Atmos Energy also donated $15,000 to the Town to be used for the Summer Reading Program (more details coming soon!). The donation comes from their corporate giving program “Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities,” which aims to help children read on grade level by the third grade.

Last but not least, The Friends of the Flower Mound Public Library donated their biggest amount ever of $80,000 to the Library. These funds will be used to expand the Creation Lab and build a children’s play patio.

We’re so honored to have the support of these incredible organizations who continue to invest in our community. Thank you to the Summit Club of Flower Mound, the Women of Flower Mound, Atmos Energy, and the Friends of the Flower Mound Public Library for your generosity! ❤️
