To my uncle Greg, only the Lord truly knows what you meant to me. As I laid you to rest yesterday, I was truly at a loss for words. I could do nothing but cry as I reminisced over all of the memories that we made together. I will never forget having to bury my father a little over ten years ago, and you stepping in as another father figure in my life. You were more than an uncle. You were a man I looked up to. A man I respected. A Godly example. And Lord knows I’m going to miss you. I’m going to miss your calls just checking on me, you asking for coffee and a cinnamon roll, and you telling me to “cut the crap Tre”, when I wasn’t handling my business. I appreciate everything you did for me and my little brother uncle. You loved us as your own, and your love was unconditional. I’m going to miss that. I take solace in knowing you lifted your eyes in paradise with no pain, no more walker, no more worries, but I’m going to miss everything about you. I remember one of our last conversations, you told me to make sure I was there for Kenzie, and that to keep handling my business. And that’s what I will continue to do. I love you uncle Greg. And I will miss you. Than you for everything💙
