One of the first people I photographed at the DHU Gala was . He was ready for his GQ moment long before I finished setting up my backdrop and lighting. Thank you for leading the charge lol. So I bought an orchid, and I started caring for it, but I ended up overwatering her. As a result her beautiful flowers started to fall off. I was so disappointed in myself for killing such a beauty. After a while, I decided I was going to throw her away. To my surprise I started to see signs of life with a few new buds on her stems. Now I have learned to care for her better and her buds have blossomed into beautiful flowers. I started to feel this way about my photography. I thought my passion for it died but now i’m back at it with a fresh perspective.
