3 MISCONCEPTIONS I HAD ABOUT STARTING AN ONLINE BUSINESS (expressed by happy lil rainbows) 🌈

1️⃣ YOU NEED THOUSANDS OF $$$ TO GET STARTED

Nope. My first coaching program was hosted on Google Docs.

My monthly expenses?
- $12.95 for Canva Pro (Graphics)
- $20 for Honeybook (CRM)
- $19 for Flodesk (Emails)
- $29 for Showit (Website)

It's pretty manageable. Besides, tools aren't required. They're just there to streamline processes and make your life easier.

Branding photoshoots, custom logos, and coaching are my heftiest expenses, but even those are optional at first.

2️⃣ YOU NEED THOUSANDS OF FOLLOWERS TO HAVE CREDIBILITY

Also wrong.

I booked out my first ever program with less than 500 followers and scaled to 5-figures in under 2 months.

Vanity metrics don't mean much - If I can do it, you can do it. NEXT.

3️⃣ YOU NEED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO BE QUALIFIED

Wrong AGAIN!

I'm 22. I have a degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing and 3 businesses under my belt.

No one is going to tell you when you're qualified to do something.

You decide what you're capable of.

3 STEPS TO BOOKING OUT YOUR FIRST OFFER [SWIPE!]

1️⃣ KNOW YOUR IDEAL CLIENT

You'd think this is obvious, but SO few people actually survey their audience before making a program!

Get to know your ICA (ideal client avatar) and spend time validating your assumptions.

HOW ARE YOU GONNA SELL ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU'RE SELLING TO?!?!?!?!?!?!

2️⃣ CRAFT AN OFFER AROUND HER PAIN POINTS

Once you know who your ICA 𝘪𝘴 and what she struggles with, identify ways you can provide insight to help her situation.

Break down modules. Create lessons around what you 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 know.

Spend quality time brainstorming and jam pack your offer with VALUUUUEEEE!!!

3️⃣ SELL THE TRANSFORMATION

Here's a HUGE mistake I see ALL THE TIME!

People sell the specifics of their program. The little details.

You only have so much time to capture your girl's attention and educate her on why your program is awesome ⏰

Be concise. Sell the destination not the airplane ✈️
