New York Carnegie DEBUT!
Had a wonderful first trip to New York with CCM for a Stephen Flaherty Concert. What an amazing opportunity to play with so many Broadway stars and big people (Anastasia!?!??! Eliza Schuyler!??!?! Mary Poppins?!?!?! All the Ragtime!!!!). Driving back to Cincinnati now and could definitely use a nap after speed running New York City.
Also can't believe I'm in New York with no snow while Texas is having an icy blast.
Here is a snippet from my and my recital! It was so much fun, and I can't wait to continue with the 2nd movement now.

Today will be Mendelssohn Monday, as I get to perform it for a public audience for the first time, and with an accompanist. I've been working really hard on it. Many times, performers grow weary or bored when practicing a piece for several months, but this piece is so beautiful, and I'm so excited to share my hard work on it with you. In the meantime, enjoy a little Grieg snippet from my chamber recital Saturday.
