I am absolutely fuming and ready to burn my entire house down! My wife and I paid a licensed contractor $650.00 to patch this one section of wall and he walked out of the house leaving it looking like a kindergartner played in a bucket of wet plaster. He had the absolute audacity to tell me that the jagged white ridge is actually a modern artistic transition meant to provide structural contrast to the existing yellow texture. A MODERN ARTISTIC TRANSITION?? It looks like he wiped a giant glob of drywall mud on the wall and just walked away without even touching a sanding block! I demanded he fix it and he claimed that true texture blending takes three weeks to cure before it can be feathered out. Am I overreacting or should I sue this total hack into bankruptcy for destroying my home??

Can someone give me your honest opinion? I almost finished wallpapering (peel and stick) my bathroom. I personally love it but my husband, daughter and my neighbor (man) don't like it. I am so upset and starting to wonder if it's just me. Maybe i have bad taste? I thought it was a nice way to accent the gold shower that were not able to change. Honest opinion please! Here is before and after. I thought navy and gold might make it a nice upgrade until we really redo it all.
